Becoming a Member

Membership dues go toward the upkeep, maintenance, and restoration of our historic family cemetery including mowing, tree/shrub maintenance, and road upkeep. It is critical that we strengthen the support of the next generation ancestors if the organization is to maintain adequate funding. We encourage older members to get their adult children involved by paying membership fees for them as well. If you do, we will let those children know you have done so, and begin communicating with them about the cemetery association activities. More importantly, please take your children to visit the cemetery and point out the graves of their ancestors. Emphasize that someday it will be up to them to help maintain the cemetery.

Although voting membership is limited to descendants of Ephriam Fuqua, anyone interested in helping preserve this historic Texas landmark is encouraged to make a donation as a “Friend of the Cemetery”.

Membership Information:
• Annual dues: $50/family to be paid by Aug 31
• Lifetime membership dues: $2,000 with County-recorded documentation
• Dues are tax deductible due to the cemetery being a 501-c-3 non-profit organization
• The annual membership mtg. is held the first Sunday in May
